One of the major benefits of this system is that it does not waste any water during the purification process like reverse osmosis water filtration systems. Another benefit is the encapsulated filters, unlike competitive open sump models, you do not need to turn off your water supply, utilize a wrench to remove filter sumps, or mess around with replacing gross internal filters. Whirlpool’s patented filter design allows you to untwist the old filters and twist on the new filters to complete a filter change saving you hassle and time. The filter reminder light shows you when it is time to change your filters. This system utilizes WHEMBF water purifier replacement filters and it is recommended to replace these filters every 6 months. System includes: dedicated filtered water faucet, WHEMBF filter set, installation fittings, color coded tubing and push-in connectors.
